Preparing to Sell Your Home
||

When is the best time to sell?

This may seem like a difficult question to answer, but in reality it's quite simple. The time has to be right for you!

You can analyze this topic from a variety of perspectives, looking at the time of year, historical data, interest rates, etc...
If you have been thinking about the prospect of selling your home and making a move, it's time to get together and create a game plan for success. This plan will lay out the steps we take together so we can get the best net result possible.

Many sellers aren't aware of the amount of work needed to prep a home to ensure it's ready for the parade of buyers that will want a tour. Simply putting a sign up and posting a couple of pictures online won't entice today's buyers to get excited about any home.

Every seller and their home are different, so while the basic process is similar, we will develop a tailor-made plan just for you and your home. I'm here working with you at each step to insure we are working towards success.
While some homes require more "heavy lifting" work than others, it is vital that the work is completed in a timely manner. My goal is to make the selling process as stress-free as possible.
During the home prep, we will be working with trusted professionals. Home inspectors, painters, landscapers & stagers; each helps create a home that feels right. When we are ready, it's time for photos, 3D tour and video to help tell our story.

A Few Trusted Partners

From the moment we decide to work together towards selling your home, I have a trusted team of professionals who provide services key to getting you the highest sale price possible.

Here are a few trusted partners:
Kirsten Robertson at Sketchbox Media for photography
Ken Harper at NW Certified Home Inspections
Sam Licio at North Coast Painting
Rebecca Johnston at Sound Organizing Solutions
Once the game plan has been decided and the necessary services have been lined up, then the work gets rolling. Depending on the property, it can take between 30-60 days to get through the list of prep items.

Keeping you in the best position possible both before and after your home hits the market is my primary goal. Through determination and a thoughtful process, the story we create for your home will draw in buyers and help them fall in love with the home just like you did!

Next Steps...

The Home Stretch!

As tasks are completed and the prep list disappears, breathe a sigh of relief knowing that we have addressed every detail to allow us to showcase your home. By completing the pre-sale process, we have put you in a power position for negotiations and created a home buyers will be excited to tour!

What Happens Next?

We have worked hard to this point in creating a story in which the buyers will write the next chapter. The home is on the market, and we are excited to share your home with the world. Now you may ask: what happens next?
We're ready to negotiate with buyers that present an offer. Next, we will partner with more trusted team members, our Title & Escrow company. They manage the paperwork and funds during the transfer of the property.
